Midleton Arts festival 2023

We were delighted with a very successful pottery project in association with the Midleton Arts Festival Celebrating the arts in our locality.

The echo project consisted of a number of workshops where participants had the opportunity to create a dish stamping it with their own message, quote, lyric or piece of poetry. On the weekend of the festival, the dishes were collected from the studio and gifted out to many people in our community. 84 in total were made and gifted . Recipients of the dishes were asked to take ownership of the dishes and they too were encouraged to gift them on, giving rise to the echo of the makers message.
