I see the clay as a starting point, that can lead to many things, to everything, with a long history behind it.

I grew up believing in the magic of the woods and seeing shapes in the ripples of water. I still do!

I dig clay from various locations near my home, creating vessels that form a collection called ‘ Echoes of my landscape’. It is a unique collaboration between me and my environment .

I am currently working on my beachware bottles, studying form , letting an established process of making them develop further organically.

Taking clay and seizing the opportunity to create a new form, clay that already has a long history, a story of its own.Where it was once part of rock formations, enduring erosions bringing it to a point where I gather up the pieces and join the tale.
